What we collect
BestCamSites2026 is a static review site — we do not require account registration and do not collect personal data directly through forms. Our hosting infrastructure (Caddy web server) creates standard server logs containing IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, referrer URLs, and timestamps. These are retained for 7 days for security analysis and then automatically deleted.
We use privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible, self-hosted) which records aggregate page views, referrer sources, and country-level geography. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.
What we do not collect
We do not collect: names, email addresses (unless you contact us voluntarily), payment information, browsing history outside our site, or any data that could personally identify you.
Cookies
We use one cookie / localStorage entry: age_verified_v1, set when you confirm your age via our age-gate. This is essential for site functionality and is not used for tracking.
Third-party links
When you click on an outbound affiliate link to a cam platform, you leave our site. The destination platform has its own privacy policy and tracking. We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party sites.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
